2005 S Type R stalling, CPS, theft?
Hello, as a brief introduction this is my first supercharged S type Jaguar. I'm quite familiar with the E55/E63 AMG's, and old E30's + other german/euro vehicles. I picked this vehicle up ( 2005 Jaguar S-Type R ) from a storage facility after never making payments. Our guess is he passed away as there is paperwork about cancer in the vehicle. He seemed to be tracking down some sort of electrical issue, as when I got the car it had no PCM and no key. Our guess is the car has been sitting for about 2.5 years in a stored facility, not being started once.
I purchased a cluster, PCM, ignition + key combo and installed them in the car.
Tried to start it and wouldn't start, fuel smell from engine bay. Dropped oil in cylinders and tried again... it eventually fired up, but my wife, seeing smoke from the tailpipe shut it off right away. Then it wouldn't start again. I pulled the plugs and they smelt of petrol, while also badly fouled. Replaced all spark plugs w/ NGK iridiums / gapped .040.
So I went to start the car, same thing, no start. I ended up locking and unlocking the doors from inside a few times then the car ended up starting up.
I sat with the car and let it idle for a good 15-20 minutes. When the car reached normal operating temperature, it died and refuses to start again.
So now i'm stuck. The car will fire up when messing with the locks(unless it's something else and it's just a chance that it started after messing with locking mechanisms), when it reaches operating temperature it dies, and wont start back up. When the key is in ignition 2 there is a loud humming noise under the passenger (USA) front headlight that lasts for 1-2 seconds.
What can this be? crank sensor? I can hear the fuel pump priming... I know on old E30's crank sensors will cause some weird issues, but so will anti-theft.
Any advice appreciated. There are no stored codes or check engine lights. When I rev'd the engine after starting it, there were no misfires either. Trying to get this sorted before the end of the month.

Havn't messed with the STR recently, but today it's having the cranking but no start issue. Stumped. Could it be the crank sensor or a coolant sensor? Battery tested 12.95v when pulled off the car
p0300, misfires on just about every cylinder along with p1316. However when the car starts it doesn't misfire at all. New plugs, coils checked and good. Fuel pressure at the rail is where it should be. A bit lost to be honest. Sometimes it fires up, sometimes it doesn't, along with dying once it's warmed up.
On my other german vehicles it is normally a cam sensor, crank sensor, or on the older OBD1 BMW's I work on, a coolant temp sensor (dme side).

I swapped the cluster, DME, and key... Key is not unlocked the doors with the fob (new battery).
Previous owner had a can of starting fluid in the vehicle aswell, so he must've been tracking down a similar issue and thought it was DME related, which it clearly is not. Battery tested @ 12.95v off the car.
multiple misfires along with a p1316. Previous owner had a can of starting fluid in the car aswell. I'm guessing he thought it was DME related, but clearly, it doesn't seem like that's the case...
