Default 2005 STR Bluetooth adapter through CD Changer?

Trying to find a bluetooth streaming solution through the CD Changer for music only. Don't want an FM modulator. I've been searching for days and found one web site with a unit but can't find it again!

2005 STR with a premium audio system with NAV.

Anyone?

There is no 'plug and play' option for this other than the Jaguar ACM (audio conectivity module) that cost a fortune when new and are very hard to find second hand these days. This uses the CD changer controls.

However you can add a audio signal via the dashboard CD changer. However it does require the unit to be taken apart and connections soldered in place.
In addition if you have the standard audio and do not have the premium sound option ('Alpine' badges on the speakers and an amp in the boot.) you will have to use an analog to SPDIF digital converter.
The way the cd player works changes from a digital link with the standard system to an analoge link with the Premiunm sound system.
See this link for more info:

I don't think the ACM had Bluetooth?
I added it to my old 2005 STR. It had USB and RCA and IPOD inputs but no BT.

Although ’
there is the option to do as Mellow says ,
by adding the 3.5mm jack to the dash mounted CD unit .
I believe it is stage 4 of the Jagdroid mods .
(and outlined on bens website ).
or for that matter to the boot/trunk mounted CDC (Changer).
(there are threads on this mod on the forums too).

then
plug in a jabbee’s 3.5 mm Bluetooth headphone kit .
or similar.
And run that off a Universal USB Jack.
its easy ,
I use this method in two of my vehicles ,
and also in my helmets.
