2006 Jaguar S-Type wont start!
So I bought a 2006 Jaguar S-type 3.0 recently. I put about 500 miles on it after i bout it with 81,000 miles on it and one day it decides not to start. I had a code reading done cause the check engine light came on after about 2 weeks of having only put like 200 miles on it. The code at Oreillys read p0430 Catalyst system efficiancy below threshold bank 2. So then about 2 weeks after that it just doesnt start one morning. Wasnt cold or nothing. It started for like 10 seconds, then started idling low, thsn shut down. So I got an OBD 2 scanner (a pretty nice one about $250) and all these codes came up
☆
P0087: Fuel Rail/System Pressure- too low
☆
P0430: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2
☆
P0102: Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Low Input
☆
P0113- Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High Input
☆
P0301: Cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0302: cylinder 2 misfire detected
P0303: cylinder 3 misfire detected
P0304: cylinder 4 misfire detected
P0305: cylinder 5 misfire detected
P0306: cylinder 6 misfire detected
☆
P0300: Random- Multiple misfire Detected
☆
P0316: Misfire Detected On Startup (First 1000 Revolutions)
☆
P0506:
Idle Air Control System Revolutions Per Minute Lower Than Expected
☆
now all of the misfiring cylinder codes make sense due to it shutting down like it did. But im just trying to grasp what the big problem is here and I could use some help! Maybe a catalytic converter gone bad? I changed the fuel filter and air filter but nothin still. I did hear i leaking noise comng from the engine bay while replacing the filter. Maybe a leak in the fuel line or injectors? It doesnt suprise me much though because I hade been looking at this car at a lot on Craigslist for like a year and i doubt the guy even serviced it. It was literally just sitting there for almost a year. Please somebody help me! I just got the car! Much appreciated😊

If you're lucky it's a failing battery. Test it under load and be certain if you think it's OK because if it's not you'll spend forever going down blind alleys.
In case it really is OK, you may be looking at a chafed loom and I'd start with the Electrical Guide and the various errors looking for something in common and where do the harnesses go. Expect to spend a long time and be very logical when you start measuring volts etc.

I'd also lean towards a fuel pump (or fuel delivery) issue. Most of those other new codes were probably caused by a weak battery and/or fuel starvation.
There should be a test fitting on the fuel injector rail. Hook up a fuel injection pressure tester and see what you have.
