2007 S type Windshied Wipers Locking Together
I don't know what locking together means?? Can you give a better description??
I had a strange wiper problem. It turned out the passenger wiper arm stripped out completely from its splined stud attachment. This left the passenger wiper dead while the drives side kept wiping away. The near flood conditions I was driving in caused a huge wall of water to be dumped on the car when a dumb *** in a 4-wheel drive attempted to pass me in the flooded outside lane on a 4 lane highway. The wiper went dead immediately. What I think happened was the moisture sensing wipers detected a bunch of water and there was just too much water mass for the wiper to handle at top speed.

Are you sure that one or both of the wiper blades are not too long? There's not much clearance even with the correct originals. Failing that, if the drivers side is parking too low, it might not be getting out of the way of the passenger side in time as they sweep.
I think Mikey may be correct. As I recall the blades are different lengths. Have you had the blades changed recently and could you have purchased two blades the same length or could you have put the blades on the wrong arms?
