2008 S-type rear brake rotors
I'm have a hard time finding rear brake rotors for my 08 s-type. (except for Jag dealer who wants $438 for the pair. The issue is my car came with the smaller diameter 305mm discs. I find some listed on ebay and other sites but they all say they are for the front. Please let me know if anyone knows if the front and rear are the same style and size rotors.

Thank you for posting the page from JPEC. I suppose anyone with a later car will need to measure the diameter of their rear brake discs to ensure the correct discs and pads can be located.

By now the cars may not have the OE ones i.e. may have had them replaced some time ago. Quite possibly by either size, as anyone changing the discs could have stumbled across either size as being what to buy.
(Different car, but there were two sizes stated by Jaguar for the rears of my STR. I went with the larger size, which was in JTIS.)

Thanks for all the great info. I am the second owner and know the first so the brakes have never been serviced. I finally found a dealer that would give me the part numbers for my car (based on the VIN) and found that mine are the "rate" 300 mm rear and, 305 mm front. They are $467 from my local dealer with 3-5 days delivery. I actually found one pair of rear discs, new, from a guy in California. Still expensive at $320 including shipping, but there are no more to be found. Fortunately, the front discs are available for a lot less. Thanks for you help

Are you sure about the front ones? Typically the last S-Types had the 326mm discs.
What are the part numbers you were quoted. It may help someone else in the future.

Might be worth a shot
My 2002 S Type 4.0L V8 has 300mm front discs on it.
And 288mm on the rear.
Found a link to a UK seller that might be of help for you:

I have the ebay rotors on the way to me, should have them tomorrow.
I gave my vin number to a dealer and they gave me these part numbers:
Front rotors: C2C25335 - 305 mm
Rear rotors: C2C25338 300 mm
I haven't started on the front brakes as of today. Be assured I will measure the rotors before I purchase the new rotors.

Most rears were 288 mm but it seems that some also had these 300 mm ones

I got pads and rotors for the rear on my car at the local NAPA store a couple of years ago and they were reasonably priced and good quality, don't get the cheapest ones though. My car is a 2003 with a 4.2 motor, but they should have them for yours too. Be sure to bring your old ones to see make sure that they match. The rotors were about the same price as having the old ones turned.
