3.0 s type cylinders misfire ?
Hey forum, i recently registered my jaguar (finally!), however the car was sitting for a few months before i got it on the road and i changed the idle pulley. The problem is that the car has no torque whatsoever, i floor it on first gear and the car will take a really long time to catch speed, it's not quick at all!
So i have 2 check engine codes and i went to a shop to get the codes and it came out to be cylinder #2 and cylinder #6 misfire. A friend of mine told me that it could be either the coils or the injectors, but i just realized that to change these i have to take the intake manifold off ( i also realized that the throttle body is all black inside so i'm planning on cleaning the whole intake manifold when i take it apart) So my question is: I don't have $500 to spend, i was thinking of getting 2 coils and just clean the injectors, but what if the injectors are bad ? any good website to get good quality injectors and coils not at a top price ? Or anybody in here with an s-type for parts ?

Your car year matters, as the way cyls are numbered changed.
It's 95% likely the coils or an air leak (50-50 those), 5% something else (such as injs) unless you know the injs are bad. On a budget I'd hope the injs are OK.
The year also matters in that the early ones have a common air leak which you would want to fix while the manifold's off (lots of details in FAQs etc).
Many say you should drain old fuel and use new. I don't disagree but also don't actually know.
