Default 3rd/middle brake light

Ive tried to look it up but not so much info on removing it. Also read thats its sealed for the life of the car?
I need to get to it because some of the bulbs are not as bright as the others and its just an eye sore looking from behind.

Anyone has successfully got to it or is there a fuse I can take out to shut em off completely?

Please post where it says it's sealed for life.

Not too bad of a repair.

If you plan to do the work yourself. Make it easy and get the JTIS. This is the factory shop manual and is free on this forum.

It's well worth the time to install it and play around with using it. There will be more uses for it in the future!

Go with JTIS. Generally ignore any dealer who says anything is sealed for life. They generally just do not know and make it up rather than admit ignorance. It's often code for "we would just change the whole thing at your (possibly large) cost".
