I didnt know the S-Type came in a 5 speed, that totally rocks. Anyone know production numbers?

The North American manual gearbox cars only offered in the 3.0 V6 version.

 

All the supercharged STR's world wide are automatic.

Yes, both the original auto & a manual (which hardly sold).

Jaguar Heritage can tell you but be sure to specify which kind you want as "5 speed" is confusing as regards auto/manual, for example.

 

To the best of my knowledge only shipped to the USA for the 2003 model year V6 3.0 . If its a manual the fifth letter in the vin # will be a "B" . The auto's have a letter "A" in the fifth position. I own two manuals and I have a friend with one. Lots of fun to drive.

 

I remember when I worked at the dealer, those cars had WDS report "No Communication With TCM". (go figure?)
