Default abs light and sudden loss of power

My abs light is staying on and my car (2004 S type with 4.2 V8) will all of sudden loose power and I feel a vibration, like brakes are kicking in and out. I try and give gas with a long delay. The car eventually goes back to normal. This happens too when I try and leave in the mornings in the drive way. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Has it always done it or just started after quite a long while owning the car?

Check tyre pressures.

Best thing is read the ABS codes.

Default Abs and dsc light

The car just started doing this. I took it to Orielly this morning the code was something about intake leak? Tire pressure is fine. Thanks

Yep, that will do it. Sounds like you need to replace a vacuum line or 2. I would start with the brake booster vacuum line, although there are other vacuum lines that could cause the faults.

So you have a check engine light on? It helps to mention these details.

You need to get more involved and get the correct code. Then you need to research that code. It will be very expensive if you don't DIY your problem.

If you google diy diagnostic smoker then you can check the vacuum pipes yourself easily at home.
buy yourself an elm 327 to read the engine codes they are really cheap.

Another vote to get the ELM327. They are too cheap to NOT have one. With the phone apps they are real easy to use.
