Hello Forum
Has anybody fitted an aftermarket supercharger to a 3L V6 s type?
One of my customers has converted a 2000 model s type into a Targa car. A bit more oompf would be nice
Thanks

I am fairly sure they will not have done it to an S-Type. Someone may have done it with an engine out of an S-Type, but you're on a long-shot asking here. I suspect you'll have more luck with web searches and the engine. Good luck!

Its a 4 valve head and would respond very well to boost. I highly doubt a kit exists so I'd think a turbo would be easier to fab than a belt system w/custom pullies.
I'd suggest a small turbo w/IC positioned in the lower grill opening so that low end and mid range response would be maximized. (sounds like the kind of car/customer whos not interested in high rpm max power)
You might take a look at how BANKS makes turbo kits for towing on gas powered engines.
