I am going to have the door auto-lock function disabled on two of our Jaguars - a 1996 XJR and a 2001 S-Type.
Since the major cost is hooking the cars up to the system, I am thinking about other settings/configurations/adjustments that I should ask for at the same time.

Here's what I have for the 1996 XJR
- disable door auto-locking
- Reset Adaptive Terms [Zero out fueling adaptions]
- reorient Oxygen sensors (should be correct, not like this setting drifts :-), but the fuel economy isn't the greatest, and I don't feel like experimenting by switching oxygen sensor connections)
- Throttle Adaption Reset/calibrate idle speed (no issue at this time - idle is stable at 700? RPM - maybe best not to touch?)
- other settings???



Here's what I have for the 2001 S-Type
- disable door auto-locking
- code additional remotes for lock/unlock
- other settings???

Or if someone has a list of the configurable options/parameters for these cars, that would be great.


Also, I've been following the cloned dealer scan tool thread. However, I am unclear as to whether anybody managed to get a Mongoose cable + SDD/IDS v125 through v130 to actual talk to and configure X300s and X200s.

And the authentication for SDD - does it require an Internet connection (with forced update to V131 Patch 4 or later) or is it a built-in username/password authentication mechanism?

I'd really like to be able to do the module setup/encoding and powertrain adjustments myself rather than going to a shop. I don't need PCM flash capabilities (XJR does not support flash and has latest EPROMs, S-Type has latest - and probably 'last ever' - version of the PCM software)
