i got my coils today, started putting them on and noticed the front right (number 4) plug hole had oil on the top, then looked indside the plug hole and saw oil.. so i guess its time to change that gasket. what part do i need? valve cover gaskets?

You need cam cover gaskets and also the spark well O-Rings as well - at a minimum.

actually after i tried to get it out i see that it was coolant. is it common for the front head temp sensor to leak? it looks like its coming out of there. i guess that would cause a misfire? anyone have a part number for that sensor?

a new vvt solenoid ohms at 2 I read it was 5.. so false alarm luckily they are allowing me to return the part.. The leak was a false alarm too and got coil packs on everything back together and drove to work no misfires or any other issues.. plus I think I located a seat in the color I need.. now to get a lower console..

Update.. this car is freaking awesome. i like it better than my old 03 mercedes c230 kompresser coupe. has more power and gets close to if not better than the same mpg (1.8 supercharged was the merc) i really really want a v8 supercharged version now.. i have to say im impressed.

Btw if anyone needs a complete set of coil packs for a 6 cylinder there is a seller on ebay that has them for 50 for all 6 shipped. vs the 58 a piece at orielly here.. just a heads up.
