Bad people drive jaguars...
You know, the bad guys drove a Jag in the modern version of The Sweeney as well haha. And what did I see today but an older couple in a BMW waiting for a parking spot only to have a brand new F-type convertible zip into it when the occupying car pulled out.
Damn Jag owners....

My wife is a nurse at a down-town teaching hospital. Whenever she drives the S-Type she parks were the doctors park.
No one blinks an eye

You dreamed of big star, he played a mean guitar...
He loved to drive his Jaguar
So welcome to the machine

Most mornings, my wife takes a walk around the block. There's a neighbor lady who walks her dogs around the same time. Pre Jag, the women stopped and chatted for a moment before going their ways. After Jag was acquired, neighbor lady sometimes went out of her way to avoid my wife and maybe a nod or hello from across the street. Post Jag, not much has changed. No loss on our part.
Are you hinting that spies and secret service types drive Jags? WOW!!! I would never have known from your photo avatar. I do hope your indiscretion does not mean you have to kill me now.
Oh no! ... I wish I had never asked ... I'll Keep my mouth shut, I promise ... Just forget it, eh? Pleeez?
Best wishes.
My kids always thought Jags (XJ's and S-types) were old man cars. Most of the time I see women driving the X-Types and S-Types 3.0's, a mix of women and men driving the 4.0's and mostly older men with the XJ's and Guys around 40-50 driving the S-Type R.
I had a few of my daughter's friends ride in my car, all boys, and they were like "cool car", but I don't have any blacked out windows or oversized wheels with low profile tires.
I haven't seen too many S-Type R's around with blacked out windows, though there are some. When I drive to the "not so nice" area's in DC metro area, there are some Jags typically in not so go condition, but I wouldn't call them drug dealers. Just older folks typically who want a Jag and can afford an older one. We get a lot more BMW's and Mercedes with blacked out windows and 22" chrome wheels who are more the "Hood" attitude. Most people do think that Jag owners are wealthy as even with an older one, you spend tons of money on the repairs. ;-) Jag's are unique and not everyone and their brother owns one. That's why I like it.

Looks like a S-type didn't fare to well in the movie "Battle for Los Angeles" The attacking aliens don't appreciate S-types! Maybe the movie producer tired of his loyal steed and upgraded to a newer model...

Since I've owned my S Type, I've gotten comments on how nice it is from the least expected places - at the guard shack where I work, and from a McDonald's employee who was impressed where I buy my breakfast burritos. LOL.
I have also been pulled over once after rolling thru a a stop sign, and let go with a "next time please remember" warning - that has never happened before, so I am happy.
