Bank 1 Bank 2 conflicting info
I have a 2000 S-type 3.0 with a misfire on cylinder 6. I've seen a lot of conflicting info on which bank is on what side and what the cylinders are numbered.
Now to put this to bed, for my personal knowledge, if I'm standing at the front of the car looking at the windshield, the passenger side (left)has which cylinders? The drivers side (right) has which cylinders? Please help!
Thanks

Just so you don't get confused in future, imagine sitting in the car (or standing at its rear) looking forward. Left and right are as then appropriate. The right bank on that car is cylinders 1,2,3. Left is 4,5,6. 1 & 4 are nearest the front of the car.
Other posts on here have addressed the common causes of misfires especially on 3 & 6. Some searches will find them but at least read BugDoc's threads about changing plugs etc.
