My XJ 2.7 (Oct. 2009) eats up the battery if not started every 2-3 days. Any suggestions?

 

Welcome to the forum. You're here in S-Type and noticed you have an XJ. I think someone will come along here and bump you over where you belong and ask you for an introduction..It's worth hanging around here if you want to fix your car..There I suggest you start by searching for quiescent drain pdf and read through it...it's a pdf download by cat_as_trophy from this forum..I printed it and had it in hand when I did my car. There are also some good things on youtube about parasitic draw. I just went through this and found the passenger auto seat was pulling 9A .You can read all 70+ posts titled New Battery about my learning process.
