best way to add WIFI to 01 factory audio
I searched, I promised. Tried to find information as to whether the factory radio included an Aux RCA. I have done utube and found several ways to add wifi using hijacking the cassette wiring or adding a wifi receiver, or just plugging into the Aux RCA. Any ideas? Thanks
I would love to do this too. I had considered removing the factory stereo and replacing it with a modern double din entertainment system complete with satnav and reversing camera. This would cost about GB£160 including the wiring harness adapters. Can't afford that yet, so it is on my wish list.
Sporton, glad I am not the only one who wants this. Except, I would like to keep the original radio and just find a way to add WIFI. I found a youtube that hijacks the cassette player. It looks neat, so that is an option.
That's interesting. Can you post a link to it?
ok, I cannot find that video that I watched but I remember it was just an old Fairlane radio. But I think I found something better (I ordered one). watch this
