Angry bill young

2003 S-Type

stuck in park after about an hour on motorway along with cruise not available - fitted new switch-speed, then stop lights stuck on,removed new switch stop lights fine. Haven't been on motorway since because my vaccuum stopped working no brakes, only intermitten, but dangerous condition - any cure

Olde school trick: get a spray can of starter fluid and start spraying at selective places where you suspect a leak. When you locate it the mist of fluid will be drawn into the engine, which will then race until the mist is combusted.

Otherwise the spray will evaporate and leave no/little residue.

Good luck.
