Exclamation blank navigation screen

i was fooling around with the diagnostics screen and accidentally hit the software update button. i could not get out of the screen and decided to turn off the car thinking the screen would go back to the normal menu. but when i turned the car back on the navigation screen did not turn on. non of the buttons on the pannel worked either, but i heard the radio on, so i inserted a music cd and now the cd wont come out because none of the pannel buttons work. i have no idea what to do. i tried some research and people were saying to buya $200 navigation cd?? i cant even get my music cd that is already in the car out. any help would be very much appreciated!!!

The nav DVD is in the boot (trunk). You'd need to replace it with a newer one or a special firmware disc (which no-one seems to have).

Was your heat stuck on high in defrost?
Your steering wheel buttons work for radio?
The same thing happened to me, i bought the $200 nav map update and inserted it in the nav disk reader and got nothing, still wont come on

Did you happen to get yours to work?
