Just serviced my gearbox on x200 V6 auto s type and when I select drive I get a buzzing noise which gets higher pitched as the car starts to roll and eventually disappears. I did have a vacuum leak recently and I changed the emissions purge valve unit( this did come from a breakers and Im wondering if I should swop back and see if the noise disapears), it has only started making this noise since I did that.
