115VAC 2.5 CFM vacuum pump = $104.00 Harbor Freight
R134A Gauge set = $40.00 Harbor Freight
3 cans of freon approximately $60.00
Total cost to DIY approx $306.00. Vacuum pump and gauge set can be used on any car using R134 freon.

You should get the 134A evacuated from the system before removing the old compressor. A local garage charges $60.00 to evacuate. I pulled a vacuum on the system for 30 minutes after removing and installing the new compressor.
It should be noted by DIY the warranty on the refurb compressor becomes void. I weighed my options and took my chances.
I have pictures of the High and Low ports if anyone is interested.
High side port located by the receiver drier.

Also I want to apologize for not documenting the whole job. The next time I do a job I will take pictures and document everything so I can post.

If you look at the gauge set picture you will notice styrofoam by the lid cylinders. These were needed because the gauge set weighed the lid down. It didn't pull the lid down imediately but it came down and about mashed my fingures.
