Default C1285 Brake booster solenoid output 0

Greetings,
I have a 2003 S-type R, US spec.
I am getting an intermittent ABS DTC fault c1285 (brake booster solenoid output is zero.)
I have verified that the wheel sensors are working and with a scan tool that the value of the solenoid output is zero.
Sometimes if I restart the car, it goes away. Other times its locked in for days. Doesn't seem to be much pattern to it,
I need some expert guidance here. I am looking for the vacuum routing for the brake booster and perhaps any insight y'all can share.
Thank you all

Wheel speed sensors have nothing to do with the brake booster.
Active booster has a fault.
