Exclamation Cam positioning sensor wiring

So I’m putting my 05 4.2 back together no the only thing I do not have done is a repair on the left side cam positioning sensor connector.

will it hurt -the car to start it without? And also how to I fill and prime the cooling system? Do I just fill it up and run it for a while and recheck or what?

It should run but it will set a code as you know. Planning on fixing it? No damage to the car.

I just fill and cycle the car from hot to cold several times and keep filling the top tank as needed.

Ok next question there is a coolant return line that comes out from the bottom of the throttle body. Where does the line go? It likes starts out 1/4 and comes out 1/2
Where does the big end end up? Any help would be appreciated

not for sure, but there should be a nipple for it on the thermostat water manifold or perhaps under the intake manifold. That is where my 2 str hoses go. Maybe similar for your 1. On the parts diagram it shows a nipple underneath the rad hose connection on the thermostat cover

You may be able to figure it from the workshop manual - it has various diagrams etc.
