Rear passenger side of engine. Not too hard to replace. Why would you need to change this sensor? They typically do not go bad.

Default cam sensor

Customer asked where sensor was I got the car in today has a code p1383. They went to autozone and had it read so they assumed that is what it needed. Am going to check out today. Any common things on this code

That code is covered by a TSB S303-09 saying it can be falsely flagged. Read TSB for the fix, which is not to swap the sensor!

That link you sent opened but was only like a build sheet that told vehicle specs.

Er.... try reading my signature which says it is for Acronyms. As someone doing car repairs surely you know where to find TSBs for any make!!

P1383 is related to the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) - Over Retarded - Bank 1 - not related to the cam sensor - could be a false flag which is covered extensively on the forum - When was your oil last changed? The VVT passages are narrow and gunk up easily...
