2003 S-Type

on my jag. I had a alarm form the lease company. and I paid it off and now it would run. I just got a new battery. but still now luck. and it was running fine before that and I have call serveral time to see if they have it off. and they said they have it set to go. so what do I do now. if will not start .so can't take it in. and I don't have a lot of money. please help and then I have alarm that comes with it. how do I disconnect this alarms or what can I do.. It ran find. before this.

Did you charge the new battery? Commonly they come only part charged

Also, is it the correct battery as yes it does matter - a lot.

Question, did you added a different security alarm to the car and removed the factory? If you did, the installer may have did something wrong or if your new alarm has a engine cut off switch, it may have activated since you change the battery, it may have monitor a loss of power and consider that tampering therefore imobilizing your vehicle. I would get the tech to come out to look at it, it may just need to be reset.
