This has been suggested several times....

The codes he has are open circuit on three of the damper circuits.
Thats exactly what I have. So there can be an open circuit where? My Passenger and both rear have that code. I was told there’s a connector on one of the control arms in the front. The rear 2 I’ve unplugged and plugged in and I don’t see where a circuit could go short at??

Why don't you measure it with a meter? You can't see shorts?
Again as posted above. Remove the plug at the top of the strut and measure across the pins?

Check if the plug is getting power AND what the resistance is across the strut pins.
Post back with your results.

Use the meter to measure resistance across each damper in ohms and post all four readings here.

Maybe this will help some. I have an 06 s type r. Same cats system in good working order. Ignition off shocks plugged in is at 5.3 ohms. Ignition on car running is 1.3 milivolts plugged in. Some reference numbers anyway

My apologies, where are you measuring if the bolts are plugged in?

I would not do this. You will damage the seals on the connector. Just measure the resistance of each damper across its pins.

Ok, so measure the top of the Strut? Not the cable coming from the car

if you have the right leads it causes no damage....the pins inside the damper are very small and very close to each other....i choose the wires in lieu of damaging pins i cannot see
