Glow plug dash light flashing
Hi, Wondered if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I have had the glow plug light coming on occasionally to start and now most times I drive the car, it goes in to limp home mode. Have changed glow plugs, (they have done 150,000 miles!), but still doing it. The other day before changing the glow plugs i had been inspecting the area and must of disturbed something and the glow plug light didnt go on for over a week! I'm wondering if it could be a loose wire or plug or something. Dont really want to take to Jag, last time they told me rear caliper was leaking and needed changing so took to another garage only for them to tell me that nothing was wrong with it! Any ideas what to check would be gratefuly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Will.

Yeah, changed glow plugs and cleared all the stuff, and there was a lot of stuff, in the air inlet manifold and it made no differance whats so ever!!! Was going to take apart the turbo actuator as I have heard that the connections can fail and need resoldering, but frist wiggled the plug on it, and light went out. Took actuator connector plug off and cleaned it, made sure it was sat properly and been fine ever since! (touch wood)
