cd player in my 2002 s type sport is jammed. there is a cd jammed halfway in so the cd holder part wont come out. I have looked to remove the whole unit but I can only see four screws on the right hand side and cannot get to them. Is there a more simple way to get the whole unit out?

 

You need rachet extensions, swivel head and a good strong LED flashlight - If I recall correctly the bolt size is 10mm.

You have to remove the glove box door and liner to get a good look and access to the bolts.

Easiest way to remove the entire CD Unit with the bracket (not removing the bolts from the side of the CD player). You have two nuts at the front bracket and two on the back side of the bracket - the bolt closest to the passenger side fender is hard to see - but it's there (hence the strong LED flashlight)
