Check engine light came on. Got it diagnosed. Code p1111 and p1175 i think? Said IAT. Intermittant air temp. Dude said could be my air filter needs changed. Not sure yet, Need to check it out. Doesnt seem like an air filter would make a CEL come on.. Any idea?

 

Check connection at AIT sensor or replace AIT sensor. Dirty filter won't cause the code. Place Mina intake ($130) and Caldoofy intake elbow ($200) for superior air intake, throttle response, and 24 hp.

 

P1111 is good (see codes PDF, free download & in JTIS). Actually, see codes PDF anyway as it has very useful data about the causes of each code.

P1111 is NOT repeat NOT about IAT.

P1175? Doubtful. Check that and come back as it looks wrong.

 

May have been a code p175. Well the CEL went off today. I guess as long as it goes off cant be to bad. I dont see or notice any change in how the car drives and performs.

 

A vaccume leak may exist, but too small to maintain a continuous CEL. Snoop around.... Regardless, mod as per my previous post.
