Cig lighter & power outlet not working

Old thread, but common problem.
On 1st generation X-200 models, it is fuse 32 in the passenger kick panel. Should be 20 amp fuse. I found a blown 10 amp in mine, and replaced it with the proper rating.
The contact within the lighter assembly is small, and if the lighter was actually used to light cigars or cigarettes, would accumulate ash and make the assembly inoperative. Spray the receptacle with electrical contact cleaner and wipe out the residue.
Combination of both actions did the trick.
