Does anyone know or know how to find the rating on this capacitor (C101) on the Climate Control Module? I've narrowed the problem down to the capacitor but I do not know what to replace it with.

What markings on its top?

I recall lots have had PCB traces burn out but never a cap (capacitor).

 

It does not have any markings on the top, argh. The capacitor is definitely bad. We tested it thoroughly with a voltage meter.

 

How did you test it with a voltage meter? What happened?

 

My brother is a military aircraft electrician and I helped him (okay I watched him) test the thing. He has all the tools and will be the one to actually repair the thing if we can figure out the rating of the capacitor. As he tested, everything came up good except that capacitor came out at 0.

PS - If you look at the open wires in the picture, that is my doing, not my brother's doing. Ha!
