Default coin tray for s-type

have a quick question on the coin tray, I opened it up today and the plastic is very sticky and looks like its beginning to melt???? is this caused by the heat maybe? very were almost seems like the plastic is fading away and has become very sticky inside the coin tray...

Sounds Like something has been spilt in it.

All the ones I've seen have a velvety type covering

I would have to agree with police666 - it would have to get VERY hot to start melting the plastic. Sounds more like you spilled your rum & coke in there

lol guys, I am guessing the age of it as the plastic is beginning to rub off, and I do not see any velvet in there, just plastic. I ordered a brand new one from motor cars ltd for 37 bucks shipped! Will replace it for that price

Ok, it's not actual velvet, hard to explain, almost like a spray on velvet coating, if that makes sense

If you need the part number and a link for this (below). There are plenty of sellers and the link is really for the part number and the diagam. Shop around if you really need one.
