Compass is lost, thinks NW is NE

Why is dealer required to refit interior rear view mirror, how do you adjust the Compass

Go to a parking lot and drive the car in circles and figure 8's. There is a button on the back of the mirror you need to press I believe before driving to get to CAL mode.

Jaguar issued THOUSANDS of TSBs for service/repair info.
Please read as many as you can find as this will help you understand the car.
We had to set the ZONE and calibrate the compass on all new X200 during PDI.

The compass needs to have the ZONE reset and calibrated if the car is moved to another zone EAST/WEST.
