Hi, can anyone help?

Jaguar s type 3. litre 2004

Tried to close fuel filler cover pressed couple of times but would not lacth closed,noticed a spring with round plastic had come away from hole on left side were it sits inside,i suppose it sits in there untill you press the release button on dash witch then releases the cover, can u get the spring and plastic round piece and fix, or do you have to have the whole thing replaced

Any help appreciated.
