Default Defrost/Heater - 2000 S-Type

Heater/Defrost blows cold. What would cause this. I just changed the thermostat and it still blows cold when I trying to change to heat mode.
there must be a sensor or valve that not allowing fluid through the heat coil.

This link might be a starting place for you.

DIY: Diagnose It Yourself - JaguarClimateControl.com

But as JagV8 mentioned above there are a lot of discussions posted on the forum and it is a common problem with a number of related issues. For instance: when the heater valve gets old and deteriorates it can effect the climate control board.
