Web sites? Yes, probably those as well.

All good places you can look.

New game seeking info, but offering as little as possible. Whose turn now?

Capacity on 2003 STR is 2.7 pints of synthetic 75W-140, which is a smidge over 1 quart or 1 litre. My choice of oils and lubes is AMSOIL. Sold me X-Type but am now looking at an STR.

I've found that Mobil1 75-140 synthetic is a good choice, I called them and was told it will work fine. Jaguar uses Castrol 75-140, but I've only seen it in five gallon buckets, a bit much for me. The Ford Spec 75-140 is $30.00 a quart at my local dealer and Mobil1 is $20.00 locally, so I went for that. They're all similar, I believe. Don't use regular 75-140, It's stamped right on the rear end to use synthetic fluid. Don't ruin your car for a couple of bucks. There's no drain plug so the old fluid has to be sucked out. Many lube places and garages have devices to suck out the fluid, if you don't want to buy one. I've found that making a 90 degree bend in a foot or so of 3/8 tubing works great to stick in there and get to the bottom. Much better than just vinyl tubing.
The same for transmission fluid use ZF fluid LifeGuard6, that's what is in a six speed trans. Don't mix something different with it. At Genuine ZF Parts it's like $20.00 a quart, why use anything else? Compared to what you spend on gas and insurance, fluids are a drop in the bucket.
