disconnecting drl's help
Is there anyway of disconnecting the daytime running lights, because im trying to install hid kit on headlights and they only work if my car is not on and once you start it only one headlight works? i have halogen headlights

My understanding is that the DRL is a programing function which can be set with WDS or IDS at a dealer or independent with the equipment.
jag_genius, BRUTAL, or Real_Tech will be able to tell you for sure, one of them should be stopping by in 12 hours or so.

When I imported my STR from the US to Canada I had the dealer hook it up to a laptop and he turned them on in the same way he will turn them off for you. Took less than five minutes...
