I'm trying to see what the rear of the 4.2L S-type non "R" motor looks like so that I can figure out how to unhook the wire harness from the manifold.

 

The 4.2 NA is fairly rare and they seem very reliable so you may struggle to find anyone here who's got anything like that.

 

If you are just trying to remove the manifold, you need to remove the two gold bolts with the 8mm heads. The bolts point straight down. Then, once the manifold is loose and pulled up a little, you need to reach behind it and release the MAP sensor connector and the plastic vacuum pipe that connects right in the middle back there.
Of course the fuel line and injectors and their harnesses have to be disconnected, too.
