Hello, I recently acquired a wrecked s type R and was considering retrofitting some of its more interesting features into my own series 3 xj6. Currently my focus is on 3 systems, the ignition switch, the touch screen navigation and radio, and the keyless entry system. However to do this I need to know what colors on the ignition switch correspond to the accessory, run, and start positions, and I also need to know what I need to pull from my donor car to integrate these systems into my XJ6.

It may possibly be far simpler, and indeed less costly, to repair the 'wrecked' S-Type R than to attempt to retrofit modern systems into a Series 3 XJ6 that was designed in the early 1960s.
