Default DSC Not Available, ABS Fault, Transmission Fault - wont start

Started having some issues with my 2005 S Type. Got the DSC Not available, ABS Fault and Transmission Fault - when driving home AC would cycle on and off, then all displays died, but a moment later came back on. Got home, car would not start - half hour later it started. Next day all messages were gone. A couple of days later messages came back - on way home again and all displays died and did not come back on. Got message could not apply parking brake. Next morning started car - would not shift out of park. Switched off, car would not start - hooked up a Jump starter and with the Jump starter hooked up the car would shift out of park. Unhooked Jump starter and car would not shift out of park.

Replace battery. Hope the jump start did not cause damage.

Thanks - was figuring the battery was causing a problem - had it tested on Sunday at batteries plus - they said it was fine - just a little under on the volts - was showing 11 volts give or take. What do you mean about damage from the jump start - and do you think there would be a problem with the alternator?

That is insufficient voltage for these cars. Your battery needs to be replaced....

Careful taking out the battery hold-down bolt. It goes through the floor pan so the thread is exposed on the bottom side. Most likely it's rusted solid if you are in the snow belt states.
