These are fantastic.

Car has high flow cats, xpipe and now dynomax vt mufflers model no. 17949.

They work as advertised. Just a slight bit louder than stock on idle. No drone in the cabin. But, when you get on it, it's perfect.

Anybody know if these will fit the x350. I have an 04 XJR.

I wonder how much of the sound is down to the mufflers, and how much is coming from the cats and the x-pipe?

Can't fit S-Type rear pipes to an X350 unfortunately...

 

Thanks! Honestly, I'm not sure. The xpipe and cats were much more mild on throttle - though they did provided an overall deep tone on their own. However, the dynomax mufflers really just opened up the sound, but only when you want it.

 

I had to go to the muffler shop before ordering them to make sure I got the right parts. I'd recommend that.
