Default EverStart H8 for Daughters 2007 S-Type base?

Searched recommend batteries and did not find an answer to whether the WalMart Maxx Everstart H8 is suitable for my daughters 2007 S-Type base. We can get that now for $75 so I hope it will be a good choice. It is 900 CCA

I have that same battery in my STR.....works great....I highly recommend it...it has a very good reserve in case an inside light or the like is left on as I found out with no ill effects

There's only 2 or 3 manufacturers that make batteries so the chances are that any brand battery you buy is going to be the same as the other brand. I think everstart is made by Johnson Controls. It comes with a 5 year warranty with 3 years free replacement and you can take it to any Walmart to get it checked and replaced. As long as the battery is not inside the cabin (i.e under the seat) , it should be fine. If it's in the cabin, it's best to get an AGM battery as they don't vent.
