Findings on Battery Drain
I know there is lots on this, but just adding my findings (2003 STR).
Drains a good battery from 12.6/7 down to 12.1 overnight.
Today, I put it to sleep with the trunk open, but the closure switch held closed.
After an hour - current draw was 250mA - far too high.
Checked all fuses with mV meter - ONE fuse - showed a voltage drop (I think .9mV....regardless all others were zero).
I pulled this fuse and current draw dropped from 250mA to 95-100 mA. Spec says this should be 30mA regardless under 100 is a lot better than 250!
The fuse was the 10amp (red) cellphone/navigation - which is irrelevant not so easily done without.
This afternoon, after a fresh sleep - showing 48mA on clipon ammeter - I think this is likely "resolved" close enough to the spec 30mA sleep current.
Also, when I started with the car awake - one of the yellow relays was warm to the touch - later after sleeping for a while all the relays were cold. (about 10C in the garage today).
