Fit a subwoofer to a standard s-type . Help please
Hi all
I have a 2006 S-Type SE with the navigation screen , only standard sound
, not the alpine premium which I would have loved to have had but there you go. I have the Jaguar ACM audio kit fitted already in the centre console and have bought the jag "in navtv kit" to fit when im in the mood to add digital TV and a dvd player. I have also bought 2 sets of 6 1/2 inch In-Phase speakers to replace the standard fit ones in the front and rear doors but I am racking my brains here and wonder if anyone can help with instructions or any idea on how to incorporate a small sub woofer to the system . I only want one of the under seat type small ones with the amp already built in just to give it a little more punch and I want to mount it just on the back of one of the rear seats in the boot but just dont know how to wire it in . I dont want bone rumbling bass as im an old man now and have already done the damage to my ears with other cars and ear splitting systems in the past lol. I had a Rover 75 before and fitted an Alpine small enclosed sub with amp and it made a huge difference even though it was in the boot but the Rover has an output for the sub already fitted so it was simple. Any ICE genius here for some wiring advice would be brilliant . Waiting in anticipation with thanks.

Perhaps you should look there for answers, and also post your question there too, as he seems to be a car audio expert.
Good luck, Steve
