Default found a surprise in my jag

So yesterday I was removing the top part of the inside of the trunk when to my surprised found an old shop rag that had been stuffed into the roof of the trunk. I've had the car for 3 years and as far as I'm aware, no mechanic has been in the trunk for any reason.

Could be worse. My buddy Jeff went to Mexico to get his Fiat reupholstered. After a few weeks it started smelling pretty bad and when we took the doors apart to get at the reason for the stink, we found tampons, feminine napkins and other nastiness there....

Wow, ok you guys beat me as far as nasty surprises!
If it had a factory jag logo on the rag, then I might've washed it for keeps.

I was skinning a door on a late 70s Buick once and found a styrofoam coffee cup with the GM logo inside the door. Kinda gave me a feeling for how some of the assembly line workers cared about their work.

At least it wasn't a soiled diaper... I never find anything of value in older cars, just trash and one half burned joint.

My late father had a 76 Pontiac Grand Prix. The thing had a rattle in the door since day 1.

Finally he goes to put the window down, hears a crunching noise, and the window binds. Takes it back to the dealer, who finds a crushed budweiser can having bound up the window regulator... From the factory. Guess this one was built in the afternoon where yours was built in the morning.

Take care,

George

When I was a kid my Granddad bought a car at city auction, there were handcuffs under the seat. Apparently it was an unmarked cop car. I wonder if they got paychecked for the cuffs?

Not to long ago, I believe in the X Section someone found a couple of loaded 9mm clips in his previously enjoyed ride, no gun was ever found!

He actually owned it in Narnia but that rag would of never made it through the portal in the closet. So he just has pictures of it.

I used to detail cars at an auto auction and when the interior people got to the trunk of a repo there was 2lbs of weed sitting in the spare tire. She probably stared at it for 5 minutes probably deciding whether she was gonna take it or not before she reacted and ended up turning it in. We used to find alot of stuff in cars.
