Is is there a cheaper alternative for the X202 03 jaguar s type 3.0 v6 front ABS speed sensor or another jaguar type that would fit VIN:M88xxx. My buddy accidentally cut the ABS Cable and also is there a reason why the driver side and passenger side look different

 

Just do an internet search for the part number.

The official parts catalogue only gives one part number for both sides on thge front for your car.

The RH one in the photo looks like the correct one for your car.

The LH one in your photo does not look like any of the jaguar s-type front ABS sensors.

I recently replaced the front hubs on my '02. The hubs were Timken brand and included new sensors that were different than the existing sensors on the old (original?) hubs. They weren't drastically different, but were not interchangeable. In this case, maybe only the LH hub was changed?

 

LH is from an X200. look up Lincoln LS ABS sensor
