That is exactly why I began using Techron on a scheduled basis....

Works for me....

Sorry for the post the other day it is not like me to do that. I was questioned on something early in the day and I took it out on Mickey, I apologized to him already. By the way I was right!

As for the use of Fuel additives I have my preference but regardless of what you use you need to read the usage pattern on the label over usage could cause problems or just waste your money.

No offence taken Gus! Thanks for the PM.

The point I was making was simply that in-service injector problems, or lack thereof, don't seem to justify either 1) the use of a dedicated product as a preventative measure or 2) scheduled in-situ cleaning of injectors by a shop.

I certainly recognize the effectiveness of the cleaner mentioned by Gus above, in the case of an injector that has malfunctioned.

Jon89 seems to have had some negative experience, neither case being on a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaag however.
