Default Fuse F47 (15A Blue) burnt 3rd or 4th time in a year.

According to Owner's Manual, it is:

"Rear electronic module, fuel pump driver."

It has happend before but not when car was running but yesterday, on highway going at around 85, car lost power, had to make an emergency stop.

(Fuel tank was around 40% filled)

What could be causing it?

Thanks a lot.....

All the obvious: chafed wire, fuel pump failing, any add-on wired to that circuit (you'd hope none), maybe even damp. Don't see lots of posts about it so it's something specific to your car.......

You might find it by eye, else multimeter and lots of time or even swap the pump and hope.

Thanks JagV8, I'll check the wires if I can find anything obvious.

Thanks a lot for the pointers.

Best Regards,

Likely a failing fuel pump.
