FYI... S-type repair Bulletin

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let all you S-type owners in on a repair bulletin. I own a 2007 S-type and have been experiencing a gurgleing/boiling sound in/behind the dash area, especially when I shut the car off and it's settling. I bought the car to a Jag repair tech magager (of whom I had gotten a weird vibe from the start) and he said that it was nothing and that it was normal. I reluctantly took the car back unsatisfied and questioning his claim. I returned back to the same repair center a few weeks later on a different matter and spoke with a different tech manager (who was a lot nicer and seemed more knowlegeable). I figured I'd give it one more shot and ask him about the gurgleing sound and he knew what it was right away. He said it had something to do with the AC/Heater motors and the air dispersion door in the climate control. Anyway, without getting technical, he had the parts (4 motors) in a few days and it was fully repaired... No more gurgleing sounds. I just figured I'd let everyone know if you experienced the same thing and was told that it was nothing, it's repairable. Question it. Thanks,

Hi steevo124;
Thanks for your post. I have 04 S-Type and since last year I got the similar issue - it's not really a problem, more of annoyance - it sounds on mine as if you have a rodent in the dash... the worst is when you turn the car on.. mostly in summer - I have not heard that on a cold days... If I could ask you to look at your invoice and see what exactly was changed ??? I would like to have it fixed - and don't want to get run around from dealer tech, so if I can tell then exactly what is causing it and the parts that need to be changed - it would be really appreciated....
