Gremlins in my STR?
Hello all! Hoping for some easy help here.
I have an '06 STR with just under 71k miles. I've had it a bit under a year and really don't know the car as well as I should, despite the fact that I absolutely adore it.
I have had two odd things happen and I'm wondering what's up. About two weeks ago I came home (in my daily driver) to find the headlights on in the STR. I have no idea how long they had been on, but I know they hadn't been on the night before. Car started without a hitch, so I doubt for very long.
Today I drove it to the gym and back. After a couple hours I went back out and drove it again. This time, all 4 windows and the sun roof were open. I am absolutely sure that all windows and the sun roof were closed before. Ignition was off and the key in my pocket or hanging up both times.
What's up with this? Any ideas or advice are appreciated!

Probably one or more buttons sticking down on the fob / low fob battery.
But do also check the STR's main battery as weird things occur as they start to fail, long before they actually fail.

For the windows and sunroof, this recent thread may be of some help:

Unfortunately, no resolution yet, but it may give you some ideas.
I’d suggest removing the fob batteries for a few days as an experiment. Holding down the unlock button will open the sunroof and windows. If that button was acting up, that could be the problem.
