Default headlight adjusters

I have seen the screw fix for the headlight adjusters being broken but I have also been told there are metal replacements for the broken plastic adjusters. Does anybody know where I buy these????

Never heard of that? But I did read that a guy built his own adjuster out of a threaded rod set up. After the plastic stuff got all broken. You do know that the screw fix still allows you to adjust the head lights up and down, using the screw??

I vaguely recall a detailed post about it but it was waaaayy beyond anything I could attempt so I didn't pay any more attention, sorry. I think it's on a site other than this though there may be a link to it. I'd try google and obvious words (and hope).

Any luck finding new adjusters?

I just tried to replace my bad bulbs and all the plastic adjusters broke when I sneezed on the housing.

Metel replacements would be the ticket.

Ever take any pics of those adjusters?

They fit in the ball socket of the oem part?

Here's a link to the Motorcars repair kit, looks like it only supplies the straight adjuster.
I have a call in to see if the off-set adjuster is included also.

Do you need to specify which side of the car the kit will go on? Also, is this a situation where if one has failed, you ought to replace both?
